Leave it dirty for the next user, it is not your job to clean it, so why bother to.

Use the biggest bit available for faster drilling, the drill might work better on Monday and Thursday

Match the drill bit to the material and the size of the hole you need

Use any bit that fits the drill, they are all the same.

Guess and change bits if needed, do not return the bit to the bin.
